ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As an Account Manager for the Simpson State Farm Agency, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.
We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Sales Representative with a hunter mindset to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for new customer acquisition, exceptional prospecting abilities, and a proven track record of managing a sales pipeline effectively. This role will require the individual to uncover customer needs, build engaging presentations, and leverage networking opportunities to expand our reach in the insurance market.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. New Customer Acquisition:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through various outreach strategies.
- Develop and implement targeted campaigns to connect with potential clients.
2. Sales Pipeline Management:
- Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to track and manage sales activities and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Keep accurate records of client interactions and follow-up activities to ensure timely engagement.
3. Prospecting:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify and qualify potential leads.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
4. Networking and Centers of Influence:
- Leverage existing relationships and establish new connections with centers of influence, such as financial advisors, real estate agents, and community leaders, to create referral opportunities and enhance brand visibility.
- Attend networking events and industry conferences to foster relationships that generate active pipeline opportunities.
5. Needs Assessment:
- Engage with prospects to identify their specific needs and challenges related to life and health insurance.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to propose tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
6. Presentation Skills:
- Create and deliver impactful presentations that clearly illustrate how our insurance products can address customer gaps.
- Effectively communicate product benefits and value propositions to clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Proven experience in sales, particularly in the insurance sector (life and health preferred).
• Demonstrated success in new customer acquisition, pipeline management, and leveraging networks for business growth.
• Strong understanding of insurance products and market trends
